Hi! I’m danielle!

I came to nutrition because my children struggled with their health as babies, we are talking screaming 24/7 in agony and not being able to keep anything down.

My daughter was diagnosed with GERD and had to be on two medications every six hours just to keep her somewhat level, when my son came along he was worse, much worse…. five medications every six hours and a specialised milk that we could only get on prescription. He was prescribed the milk for allergies and it was only when we started giving him real food that we saw an allergist in Harley Street. This is when I started to question the link between specific foods and GERD, there had to be a root cause for what my babies were suffering with and I wanted to find out what it was.

After hours of Dr Google research, I realised that I wasn’t going to get anywhere with the amount of misleading information that was out there. So I decided it was time for me to go back to school.

I chose a BSc (Hons) Nutritional Science degree through CNELM which is part of Middlesex University. They are considered to be pioneering in nutrition research and education and I knew I was in the right place.

After years of training and working out how to help them, I got both of my children off medication, and my son is allergy free!

So that was my children, but I have my own story too! I had struggled with symptoms of fatigue, chronic pain, bloating, brain fog, depression and anxiety for years. I struggled to get out of bed and it only got worse as my children grew and I started studying. I had been battling with doctors for years as they told me I was fine, that there was nothing wrong with me and that I was just “a busy Mum”. What bothered me is that every mum I knew was busy, but none of my friends were struggling like I was! Having always been a fighter I knew I had to get my life back on track and I knew my doctor wasn’t going to help me, granted, this is mainly because they were at a loss themselves. I had been diagnosed with my first autoimmune condition, Alopecia Areata, at just ten years old and finally I got my diagnosis of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis from an MD that had trained in functional medicine at thirty-eight. With that diagnosis in hand I was empowered to take control of my own health and because I was already studying nutrition, I knew exactly where to start.

Six months on and my life had changed completely. I had found out what foods had triggered me and what foods I could eat happily and without feeling awful! I dropped 11 inches from my waist, I had energy for days, I was happy, motivated and driven again. I was able to complete my studies and move on to a happy, healthy life.

Not every day is perfect, and I am far from perfect. But I do know how to make myself feel good every day and that’s why I am SO passionate about helping you take your life back! I want to empower you with tools and education that help you feel well and happy so that you can live your life doing what you want to do!

I know from experience how overwhelming and heartbreaking this journey can be, but with the right support and guidance you can feel good again! So let me help you, book in for a FREE thirty minute consultation with me to see if we can work together and get you back on track!

“Danielle is knowledgeable and approachable, and breaks down the science side of nutrition into bite size chunks (pun intended!)

With Danielle’s kind encouragement, I’ve tried new recipes (no mean feat for someone who is scared of cooking) bought and cooked new foods and this week was told by my teen daughter that she prefers the whole-wheat pasta over the white pasta!

It’s small tweaks like switching white pasta and bread for whole-wheat, adding a protein to my breakfast and others that you’ll have to talk to Danielle about to suit your nutritional needs, that have left me feeling more energised, less hangry and an added bonus is that my skin is looking healthier too.

In less than six weeks I’ve noticed a difference in my entire being!

Thank you Danielle!”
